Natural Elements

The brief for this design was to take a tight, almost unusable deck and open it up to a larger

outdoor living space with elements taken from favorite places where the owners had travelled.

To this end the deck was given a long broad step down to a new, large format paver patio.

Privacy needs were met with a large, stacked stone wall backed by an evergreen hedge. A gas

fire pit made of boulders matching the wall completes the feeling of being in one of their favorite

places.
